We are thrilled to be working in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Engineering to deliver the Leaders in Innovation Fellowships Global 2024 (LIF Global 2024) programme. This year’s programme will involve supporting entrepreneurs from 8 countries with engineering and technology innovations that can make a positive impact in their communities and society at large.

LIF Global 2024 will provide a comprehensive package of training, mentoring and access to industry experts across 8 countries (Colombia, Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa, India, the Philippines, Türkiye, and Jordan).

With the overall aim of supporting economic development and contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the LIF Global programme will provide essential support and resources to individuals who are commercialising novel technologies that show outstanding potential.

Together with the Royal Academy of Engineering, Oxentia has designed a programme that will run from December 2023 for 8 months. Through a combination of training, workshops, self-study, one-to-one mentoring, and social events, LIF Global 2024 will equip participants with the skills and tools to:

• Identify their business and personal development needs
• Develop key technical areas with support from a mentor
• Pitch their innovation to a variety of audiences
• Develop the most appropriate commercialisation pathway for their innovation
• Build partnerships and networks in the UK, in their country and internationally
• Integrate sustainability as a central part of their business

Selected participants will be taken through a programme of both online training, masterclasses and mentorship. They will then be joined by the Royal Academy of Engineering, Oxentia and in-country experts at a series of 4-day in-country training events, with a final two-week residential programme in the UK in July.  After the programme, participants will graduate to alumni of LIF Global, and benefit from ongoing involvement in the global LIF online community.
