Jose joined Oxentia in July 2023. He is an engineering-trained senior consultant with ten years of experience creating business opportunities through technology and innovation for stakeholders across Europe, Latin America and Asia.
At Oxentia, he delivers entrepreneurship and innovation management programmes, supporting long-running projects such as the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Leaders in Innovation Fellowship (LIF) Programme and the Santander X Challenges.
Before joining Oxentia, Jose was the innovation consultant for the Catalonia Trade & Investment, the government agency of the Spanish region of Catalonia for business competitiveness, in the South Korea branch office. He worked with clients, partners and stakeholders across innovation ecosystems for six years, focusing on technological cooperation and open innovation initiatives. Before that, Jose worked for four years as an assistant manager for Samsung C&T Corporation in South Korea, developing the power generation business in Chile and Mexico.
Jose has lived and worked in Spain, South Korea and the UK. He holds a Meng in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (2011) and recently obtained an MBA from the Imperial College London (2023). Outside of Oxentia, Jose enjoys swimming and HIIT.
