Pete specialises in strategic business development, marketing and working at the intersection of business, academia and industry.
Pete is responsible for the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies, including commercial strategies for Oxentia’s five service lines, marketing strategies for the company including branding, digital marketing and the nurturing of a culture of market awareness and customer focus within the company.
Pete applies these skills as a business coach, mentor and trainer to help technology-based companies large and small develop strategies for growth. He works as a head coach on international training and mentoring programmes, works with international governments and innovation agencies to develop the knowledge economy and works with clients in the private sector to develop and implement innovation frameworks and strategies that unlock their innovation potential.
As a knowledge transfer specialist with over 18 years of experience, he has worked in many different sectors including food processing, automotive, aerospace and high value manufacturing, as well extensively in the higher education, research and public sector.
He is happiest in front of an audience, and delights in delivering training and keynote speeches on commercialisation, sales and marketing and developing the knowledge economy for startups, universities and companies all over the world. A keen traveller, he leads the development of Oxentia’s business in the Middle East and travels extensively to work with as many different cultures and ecosystems as possible.
A former professional chef and semi-professional drummer, he spends his spare time either practising recipes for family and friends or performing at jam nights in the pubs of Twickenham and Oxford.
