Irene has a background in academic research and professional experience working for governmental offices in different countries.

At Oxentia, she in charge of delivering innovation management programmes, as well as for leading the development of new courses to best meet the increasing need of technology transfer professionals for specialised training.

 

Before joining Oxentia, Irene was an Early Career Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Study at the University of Warwick, where she has developed a collaborative and interdisciplinary research project on citizenship.  Prior to that, Irene worked as Junior Policy Officer for Unioncamere del Veneto (a government agency based in Brussels that specialises project development aligned with EU policies) and for Openpolis (an NGO in Rome with a focus on open data analysis).

Irene has lived and worked in Italy, France, Belgium, Australia and the UK. She holds a joint PhD in Philosophy from Monash University and the University of Warwick.
