Oxentia Venture Build is a UK programme providing end-to-end support for academics to deliver impact from their research through entrepreneurship and venture-build activities. The programme is in three parts:
- The Explore Workshop – a half-day workshop to explore the value of entrepreneurship as a mindset to deliver impact from academic research
- The Advance Launch Pad – a five week (five x half-day weekly sessions) pre-accelerator programme taking ideas through to validated business models
- The Oxentia Accelerator – a 12-month programme where high-potential innovations are competitively selected, supported, and developed to venture launch.

Entrepreneurship is an approach to problem solving that is applicable to academic research. The EXPLORE workshop offers a new dimension for researchers to envision, direct, and deliver impact from their research.
What to expect
Through tools, frameworks and interactive exercises, you will discover the entrepreneurial potential of your ideas, and develop skills and approaches to deliver impact from your research activities.
EXPLORE examines the underlying principles of entrepreneurship and how these can be applied to your research. The workshop aims to develop high-potential ideas, laying the groundwork for future venture-creation activities.
