

She joined Oxentia’s consulting team in 2018 and works on a variety of projects, delivering training, innovation management, and capacity building for technology transfer partnerships. She has global experience in science and innovation and is adept at working across cultures, having lived, worked, and studied in Europe, Australia, and the US.
Lauren has co-designed and delivered a custom training course in research communication for postgraduate students in Barcelona that culminated in a 3-minute pitches of students’ PhD research targeted to a non-specialist audience. Lauren also has experience working with a research institute in Italy to review the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem to inform the creation and design of a business plan for a new knowledge exchange and commercialisation office.
Lauren has been a key part of the delivery team for the technology transfer partnership with Kuwait University since 2018. Her role includes reviewing the intellectual property portfolio and recommending which projects to commercialise, training and knowledge transfer with Kuwait University staff, and design and implementation of new systems and processes.
Outside of work, Lauren can be found reading the latest Scandinavian crime thriller, at the yoga studio, or out for a long walk and a pub lunch.
