Andreea has a background in Life Science and Chemistry, focusing on applying core science into medical devices.

At Oxentia, Andreea is responsible for overseeing and delivering strategic innovation and entrepreneurship projects for public sector clients in the UK. She also works on technology licensing projects for large corporate clients. Through her work on several licensing and market strategy projects, she has gained valuable experience in early-stage Biotech, CleanTech, and Digital Technology sectors. Her role as an evaluator on multiple innovation challenges has further deepened her expertise. She enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams comprising of technical experts, commercial teams, and business mentors.

Andreea also manages the innovation function at Oxentia, focusing on new product development, which involves promoting and implementing innovative offerings to drive business growth, prioritising, tracking, and managing a small portfolio of internal projects, all in close collaboration with Senior Leadership.

Andreea is qualified as an Agile project manager has a MSc degree in Pharmacology from the University of Oxford. Before joining Oxentia in 2021, Andreea was a Development Scientist at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, where she worked on developing a sequencing-based COVID-19 diagnostic kit.
