Challenge

Oxentia worked with the large Agriculture company to identify new plant biotechnologies to support the company’s crop improvement and Research and Development efforts.

Approach

Oxentia designed and executed a bespoke research framework utilising sophisticated literature search and analytics tools to identify almost 1000 high-value patents and original research articles describing the most relevant plant biotechnologies.

Impact

The categorisation schema not only added valuable context to the data but was also immediately deployed by the large Agriculture company’s scientists for the development of their next generation of high-yielding crop varieties.
